Fashion taoStyle

Recently I asked someone if they’d seen my blog. “Oh yeah,” he replied, “that fashion blog.”

Well I love me some fashion now and again; who doesn’t? I love putting an outfit together, including clothing and accessories like fake Gucci belts or a chic handbag to pull a look together. But taoStyle is not about fashion (and we all know fashion and style are two different things) but I thought it would be fun to have some local fashion on the blog in light of the new Season’s Shows in NYC with London, Milan and Paris next.

Bill Curry just happened to have these fabulous photographs he took for Taos’ very own star designer Patricia Michaels so I thought I’d share a little frivolity with you for Valentine’s Day Weekend. These sunny day shots are a sweet reminder that Spring is just around the corner.

Aren’t these images of Pat’s beautiful clothes in motion against the New Mexican landscape just great?

01 IMG_3321 Patricia Michaels is presenting a runway show of her new Bridal Collection at the Taos Wedding Expo to be held on February 28th at the Sagebrush Inn & Conference Center. Photographer Bill Curry will have a table there as will stellar stylist, Delta Bayer. Salon X is responsible for the models hair and makeup. If you’re lucky enough to be in Taos, don’t miss it!

Please visit Patricia’s site linked below for loads more loveliness and info. Have a great weekend everyone, and thanks for reading.

  1. Dear Lynne & Bill,
I’m puzzled how my comment of my up most gratitude for your brilliant and beautiful work, didn’t make the post. Maybe in my excitement I forgot to hit post? I can see that the realm of people who choose to work together (meaning the 3 of us) to create what we have done, gives strength in yet other work that lies before us. I know it will be that just as special as each piece we have presented, none better than the next. Just all fabulous!
Thank you once again Lynne & Bill.
    Patricia

  2. Hi Patricia, I’m puzzled too that I missed this!
Thank you for being such a fabulous force in our community and for your commitment to making Taos the best it can be!
We’ll have much more fun together!
Bill’s shots are so gorgeous – I look forward to sharing more of his images of your designs!

  3. This is an exciting blog and thanks for keeping us up to date with Patricia Michaels work, she is a Taos Treasure.
