Tea Time At Tea.o.graphy

Tomorrow is Tea.o.graphy’s 1st Anniversary!

It is also the first Farmer’s Market (in Taos Plaza) of the season, and Tea.o.graphy will be there, before racing back to their dreamy Tearoom in the magical alleyway that also houses OptiMysm.

To celebrate their 1st Anniversary, Dana B and her partner, Steve Chavez are inviting you to join them (and their fabulous staff, including Camille Cooper, pictured here, with Steve), for an afternoon of fun, prizes, surprises and tea of course!

“We are so grateful,” Dana told me when we talked earlier this week.”The business is doing well and more importantly, Steve is doing well!”

Steve Chavez (like myself) has been managing a Cancer diagnosis with Integrative Medicine and  deep, meaningful inner work. When I interviewed them for a post last year, we all bonded instantly over our unified approach to dealing with, and healing Cancer.

I was not surprised then to see the couple at the Turtle Dances at Taos Pueblo early on New Year’s morning; they too had sought a way to honor and celebrate another year of wellness and Life!

“We wanted to pay it forward,” Dana explained, when I told her that Susan Strong (at Holy Cross Hospital’s Cancer Support Services), had approached me to do a post on Tea.o.graphy’s Anniversary event.

“They help so many in our community who are fighting the good fight, we wanted to do something to give back.”

From 3-6 pm, the folks at Tea.o.graphy will be raffling off Mother’s Day Gift Baskets  featuring items from local businesses. All proceeds (from the raffle), will benefit Cancer Support Services.

Enjoy a fun, pop-up  photo booth for “Mug Shots with Mom” by Chicks with Clicks.

And don’t miss this opportunity to try one of Tea.o.graphy’s exquisite tea or tisane blends. You’ll never go back to generic “tea” again. Know too, that Tea.o.graphy’s teas are available at Cid’s Food Market as well.

All proceeds from raffle + % of sales of the day, go to support the Cancer Support Services of Taos,

If you’re at loose ends on Sunday, Tea.o.graphy have you (and mom) covered.

“Come and enjoy a magical High Tea experience, perfect for a Mother’s Day Brunch.” said Dana.

They’ll be serving three High Tea courses on beautiful bone China, paired with Tea-o-graphy teas in their enchanting courtyard on Sunday, May 13th from 11-1pm.

Space is limited  –  book now! Tickets are $35.00 for adults and $25.00 for kids, 11 and under.

The menu looks heavenly, so do visit their site linked below for all the details.
