This Friday Oct 13, Holy Cross Hospital’s Cancer Support Services, will host their Annual Silent Auction at the Bareiss Galley.
This is going to be a fun event – the setting is spectacular and the cause as noble as it gets. Plenty of great food to nibble on (thanks to Holy Cross Hospital’s talented Chef Matt), plus a glass of wine with your ($10.00) door ticket, makes this event a no brainer of an excuse to get out and mingle while doing something to benefit the entire community.
Liz Fox and her team of dedicated volunteers have been busy collecting some true treasures for the auction itself, along with coordinating this and many other of the events this year.
It’s no small feat pulling off a month of events and activities, but Liz digs in and gets it done (with her able helpers of course!)
“There’s great Art, lots of cool gift certificates and much, much more!” Liz told me. “Plus, don’t forget to buy a T-shirt!” She reminded me.
The T-shirts are always cool, made from fine cotton in both men’s and women’s sizes, Pink and not, but the message is always clear; your involvement saves lives! This year’s edition is baseball style – black sleeves, grey with pink lettering. A must have score.
Vic Hennegan is providing the musical entertainment.
The Silent Auction event to benefit Holy Cross Hospital’s Cancer Support Services, is at the Bareiss Gallery on Friday, October 13 from 5.30 – 7.30 pm
Tickets 10.00 (include glass of wine).
