This is what it looks like in Taos this morning.
Winter may be behind us, but we are reminded that at 7200ft above sea level, snow can and will fall well into Spring.
There are two things to do on a day like today; I stay home and call it a Snow Day (off) and you go skiing!
If it looks like this down here, it’s pure powder on the slopes.
If you have not yet made up your mind about where to ski during Spring Break, book your tickets now. Taos Ski Valley has all kinds of events planned through mid-April (check their site below this post) and there’s lots to do in town also.
The weather has been warm and sunny, which will continue once this little storm passes, so pack with that in mind. Another storm comes through next week so there’ll be no shortage of the white stuff on the mountain.
Check my Stay section on the blog menu for places to stay – from airbnb’s to 5 star resorts, we have them all and everything in-between. And don’t forget the newly opened Blake Hotel in TSV.
TSV reporting this morning that the roads to the (Ski Resort) are closed – but should be open shortly. 18″ overnight with snow still falling!
Have a great weekend everyone, I’ll see you back here on Monday.
