Say It With Flowers

It’s almost Valentine’s Day!

And this year, we invite you to think outside of the basic chocolate box and instead, step inside of the hot box with us for a Higher Celebration this Valentine’s Day.

You might be feeling the weight of the world on your shoulders, and lacking both enthusiasm and inspiration for tomorrow’s holiday, especially after reading the news this morning that the  proposal to legalize recreational marijuana through the New Mexico Legislature, was rejected by a Senate committee on Wednesday.

The initiative was backed by Democratic Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham amid efforts by her administration to attract new industries to the state and trim economic independence on oil production.

But two Democrats joined Republicans in a 6-4 vote to table a bill that would have legalized recreational marijuana sales in every city and county while sheltering the state’s existing medical cannabis program with tax breaks and patients subsidies.

The vote leaves little or no chance for reviving the bill before the annual legislative session ends at noon on Feb. 20.

Nevertheless, if you are a card carrying member of New Mexico’s Medical Marijuana Program, you are still in luck, and there are plenty of ways to make your Valentine’s Day shine!

For Valentine’s Day and throughout the weekend, Southwest Wellness have an $8 to $10 flower sale.

We have a feeling you might just have someone on your list that would rather have these kinds of flowers than those usual roses, or better yet, with those roses, so this year we encourage you to be unexpected.

Aside from rolling those flowers into a joint, you can use them to infuse a romantic dinner with mellow, loving vibes. A few ideas are listed below
